One Operator for Beverly Hills Demolition and Dirt Work

Demolition and hauling in Beverly Hills runs on tight streets and short work windows. We cover all three Beverly Hills ZIP codes: 90210, 90211, and 90212. Most of our work sits north of Santa Monica Boulevard, in The Flats and up in Trousdale Estates. We also run jobs around Beverly Hills Gateway, where Beverly Drive climbs toward Benedict and Coldwater canyons. South of Wilshire we work the Roxbury Park streets and the Doheny blocks. A Flats lot is wide and level, screened by tall hedges, with a long straight driveway. A Trousdale lot is cut into a slope, with a flat pad and a retaining wall behind it. Those two jobs need different machines and a different plan for moving debris off the property.

We handle the teardown and the cleanup that follows. That covers house demolition down to the dirt and interior demolition for gut remodels. We also do concrete removal for old driveways, pool decks, tennis courts, and cracked motor courts. Greg started the company in 1994 and still runs the jobs himself. We hold California License #792182 and carry insurance. Three crews work out of our own truck yard in the South Bay, a short run up to Beverly Hills. Estimates are free.

Teardowns in Trousdale Estates and The Flats

Teardown to rebuild is steady work in Beverly Hills. A buyer picks up an older home on a wide Flats lot and wants a new build in its place. In Trousdale Estates, the original 1950s and 1960s homes come down for larger houses. Both jobs start the same way for us. We disconnect utilities, cap the sewer, fence and screen the site, then bring the machines in.

Hillside lots take more planning than flat ones. Trousdale sits on a slope, so debris comes down a narrow street with a grade. We size the machine to the driveway and the pad it has to reach. On a wide Flats lot we stage a bin near the work and load straight from the pile. After the structure is down, lot cleanup gets the site ready for the new foundation. Call 310-546-4855 and we will check access before we quote.

Demolition Permits and Work Hours in Beverly Hills

Beverly Hills issues its own demolition permits. The city is not part of Los Angeles, so LA rules do not apply here. Permits come from the Community Development Department at the Permit Center on North Rexford Drive. The demolition permit gets pulled by a licensed contractor, and we handle that step as part of the job. Every property gets a historic preservation check from the Planning Division first, and older homes get a closer look. The city also asks for asbestos abatement, a rodent report, utility disconnects, and a demolition bond. Requirements change, so confirm the current list with the city before you set a start date.

Work hours are tight here. City code blocks permit work between 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m., plus all day Sunday and on public holidays. Crews cannot even enter the site before 8:00 a.m. Saturday work needs an after hours permit in residential zones and within 500 feet of one. Trousdale Estates adds its own truck rules on top of that. Hauling hours there run 8:30 a.m. to 3:15 p.m., and only two site vehicles may park on the street. Heavy trucks also need a traffic management plan on file. We build the haul schedule around those windows.

Beverly Hills FAQ

Questions From Beverly Hills Property Owners

A few of the questions we hear most around Beverly Hills. Don't see yours? Call us and ask.

Call (310) 546-4855

How much does demolition cost in Beverly Hills?
Price depends on the size of the structure, what is inside it, and how hard the site is to reach. Asbestos abatement, a pool, a basement, or a hillside lot all add cost. Trousdale jobs cost more because of the hauling limits. We give free estimates after we see the site. Call 310-546-4855.
Do I need a permit to demolish a house in Beverly Hills?
Yes. Beverly Hills issues its own demolition permit through the Community Development Department. A separate permit is needed for each structure. The city also requires a historic preservation check, an asbestos abatement permit, a rodent report, and utility disconnects. We pull the permit as the licensed contractor. Confirm the current list with the city.
Can you work discreetly on a high profile Beverly Hills home?
Yes. NDA work is routine for us. We have worked high profile homes in Beverly Hills for years, and we never name a client. We sign the agreement before the job starts. Our own crews and trucks do the work, so fewer outside people come onto the property.
